Refinishing requires sanding the existing cabinets, doors & drawers, then reinstalling all of the existing kitchen components.

Cabinet refacing can last a lifetime if special care and measures are taken. Under normal kitchen use and conditions, you can expect to enjoy up to 20 years.
Yes, we reinforce the structural integrity of your existing cabinet boxes with high-quality ¼” plywood panels. We do not use particle board in any part of our products, ever. This also provides a clean surface for the new laminates or wood veneer.
Drawer boxes cannot be refaced. Typically, we recommend replacing the drawer boxes which would include all new drawer glides. For all cabinet refacing projects, new drawer fronts are included.
Installing new cabinetry requires a building permit, but they’re not required with Cabinet Refacing. Building permits can cost anywhere from a few hundred to well over a thousand dollars. So, you can save even more money by opting for cabinet refacing and eliminating the need for a permit.
